At the young age of 6, Jaiden Henry almost lost his life but it took a positive turn that would inspire not only him but hundreds of thousands of others to make a positive difference in the lives of others. While Jaiden was in one of 3 different hospitals numerous volunteers come in to make him smile. When he received the medicine his body needed, he told his mother that he wanted to be that nice person creating smiles for other strangers. “I don’t have to know someone to make them smile just like the volunteers didn’t know me. Any one any age can make a difference and I want to help you help others Mom.”
Jaiden has successfully completed over 300+ projects giving back to individuals, families, schools, nonprofits, communities and even Puerto Rico. He finds ways to make it super easy for anyone to get involved and be a part of making an even bigger difference. His journey is quite the inspirational story and a big reason why he wants to share his story to inspire others. His book is titled “One Person Can Make a Difference and Everyone Should Try! It talks about his journey and the positive messages, people, quotes and others that made an impact along his journey. He loves to speak in front of big or small crowds and share positive words on how to challenge others to make huge impacts to move mountains.
Jaiden teaching others Hand CPR
At the age of 7, Jaiden wanted to take what he learned while attending a military event and share it during a Veteran’s Day Assembly. His mother Kimberly McGraw was presenting to the students and faculty at Aux Sable Middle School with military veterans being honored in the community. Jaiden wanted to inspire others that any kid, any age can learn a new skill and teach it to others. He understood the limited time others have when in an emergency and the importance of knowing how to give CPR to save someone’s life. So he told his mother, “Someone could be saved if they knew this, so let’s teach them”. Jaiden might be little but has a huge heart for motivating others through words and actions!
It can be easy for others to motivate a group of individuals to come together and make a big impact for someone else. The more you surround yourself around positive people doing positive things the easier it is to see how you can personally inspire multiple people to do something kind. Technology can be key in providing opportunities to help anyone’s mission grow faster and be stronger. I have learned that when you share your story or mission you can inspire others that they to can make positive amazing things happen daily. Jaiden has found many ways to turn his birthday into a time of giving instead of receiving. He saw how asking his friends to each donate a stuffed animal to foster kids in need, could help to collect over 50 stuffed animals to donate. He saw how taking some of his money he received to use it to give back to a 100 year old veteran for his birthday. He saw how he could use his gift for Christmas to give back to an amazing boy who is sick and gives back to support his toy drive and help him to give back to thousands of others!
Along Jaiden’s mission he has come across amazing role models that helped to shape his principals he lives by. “To be inspired by so many great people helps me to see bigger things happening before they happen” Jaiden Henry. Jaiden knows that each project not only means the world to him and they person or organization he is helping. But it holds a big spot in the hearts of those that get to be involved or a part of making this big impact. Jaiden is right when everyone does a little we can really make a big impact in the lives of others.
Jaiden is currently reaching out to a few publishing companies to finally publish his book One Person Can Make a Difference and Everyone Should Try. His book shares pictures of the challenges he faced and the journey he took making a positive difference. It shows pictures of projects where he inspired hundreds of thousands to join him in making a big difference. He includes inspirational role models and uses some of their quotes to talk about his journey and the words that encouraged and supported him along the way. These role models include Barrack Obama, Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, Chance the Rapper, Steve Harvey, Tony Robbins, Joseph McClendon III, Michael Jordan, Stephen Curry and more!
